Softball Recap: C.H. Yoe's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

C.H. Yoe waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Grand Oaks Grizzlies by a score of 10-6.

Josie Laureano was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Diana Salomon, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

C.H. Yoe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .346 or higher in seven consecutive games.

C.H. Yoe's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Grand Oaks, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. C.H. Yoe will face off against Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. C.H. Yoe is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Grand Oaks, they will challenge College Park at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
