Softball Game Preview: Fowler Eagles vs. Bath Bees

The Fowler Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Bath Bees at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Fowler's win against Dansville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Aggies on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Bath owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They put the hurt on Pewamo-Westphalia with a sharp 7-0 win. Considering the Bees have won three games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Fowler's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Bath, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Fowler got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Bath by a conclusive 16-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
