Softball Recap: Albany Comes Up Short

Albany fell victim to Ballston Spa and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 15-0 to the Scotties. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Scotties recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Ballston Spa, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Albany and Ballston Spa could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Falcons (ranked 362nd) will meet Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (ranked tenth) at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ballston Spa will face off against Shenendehowa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (26 vs. 2).
