Football Recap: Sherrard Takes a Loss

Sherrard is still winless after their game against Hall on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-15 heartbreaker at the hands of the Red Devils. On the bright side, the 15- point performance marked the Tigers' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Sherrard's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hall, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Sherrard will welcome Mendota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hall, they will face off against Kewanee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
