Basketball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 76-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Estacado Matadors on Saturday.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Estacado, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty will venture away from home to challenge Jayton at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Estacado, they will take on Odessa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
