Bay hasn't had much luck against Normandy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rockets will be playing at home against the Invaders at 5:00 p.m. Bay is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Bay will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating North Olmsted, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rockets put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 18-3 victory on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rockets considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Lucy Corbett made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Corbett was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Julia Mavis, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Aleiyha Aponte, who went 4-for-5 with three runs and one RBI.
Bay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Olmsted only posted an OBP of .348.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Normandy and Lakewood, and Lakewood kept the tradition alive. The Invaders fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 9-8 on Monday. While the Invaders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rangers 4-0 in the first period.
Ava Ramirez made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and fired off four runs, four doubles, and one RBI while going 4-for-4. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season. Aubrey Kuhn was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Normandy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bay, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-9 record.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bay hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .322. However, it's not like Normandy struggles in that department as they've averaged .340. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
