Volleyball Recap: Sheboygan South Takes a Loss

The Sheboygan South Redwings lost 3-0 to the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Chargers on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-9.

Brookelyn Bower paced Sheboygan South's offense, picking up four kills. Bower got some help from Bianca Schneiderwent and her ten assists.

Samantha Peterson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven aces and seven assists. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high. Kathryn Ehlke also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Sheboygan South has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-13.

Sheboygan South didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Port Washington on the 14th. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Divine Savior Holy Angels on the 11th.
