Basketball Recap: White Cloud Takes a Loss

White Cloud was the 72-70 winner over Central Montcalm when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the White Cloud Indians and the Central Montcalm Hornets didn't end well, with the White Cloud Indians falling 57-43. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

It was another big night for Evan Rolston, who went 10 of 18 en route to 30 points and four steals for Central Montcalm. Another player making a difference was Peyton Marks, who posted seven points and five boards.

White Cloud's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Central Montcalm, their record now sits at 4-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White Cloud will welcome Chippewa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chippewa Hills knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully White Cloud likes a good challenge. Central Montcalm has already played their next contest (against Newaygo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
