Basketball Recap: Dickson Takes a Loss

Dickson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Purcell Dragons, falling 64-22. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 411th, while the Dragons are ranked 109th).

Dickson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Purcell, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Dickson has already played their next game, a 41-31 loss against Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool on the 24th. As for Purcell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-36 victory against Enid on the 24th.
