Volleyball Recap: Connersville Takes a Loss

Connersville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the New Palestine Dragons. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-13.

Kendyl Bottomley paced Connersville's offense, picking up eight kills. Bottomley got some help from Keagan Ritter and her 20 assists.

Connersville's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for New Palestine, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Connersville has already played their next matchup (against Waldron), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for New Palestine, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Winchester Community on the 4th.
