Volleyball Recap: North Henderson Takes Down Concord in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and North Henderson had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Concord Spiders on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 19-25, 25-16, 25-21.

North Henderson had a senior duo take command as Brie Barnett had 16 digs and three assists and Katie Ruminski had nine digs, three aces, and one block. Ruminski also set a new season-high mark in assists with 38. Another player making a difference was Ava Lyda, who had nine digs and one assist.

North Henderson's win bumped their record up to 11-21. As for Concord, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

North Henderson will square off against Carson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Concord does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
