Recap: Roseville Tigers vs. Vanden Vikings
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Roseville Tigers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were outmatched by Vanden on the road and fell 44-15. Roseville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-8.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Vanden to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Chavez, who picked up 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Emmanuel Blackwell was in the mix too, providing Vanden with two touchdowns.
Roseville has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season. As for Vanden, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
Roseville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Vanden will face off against Woodcreek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Woodcreek's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last six games.
