Kaden Carter Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is Lamar County's Kaden Carter, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Carter made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards.
The victory (which was Lamar County's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Carter and Lamar County will square off against Putnam County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Rashod Daniel Turns in Season-Best Performance
Rashod Daniel produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Putnam County to the win on Friday. Daniel rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Putnam County: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
This season, Daniel has run in 16 touchdowns while averaging 124.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 58.29 rushing yards per game.

Hardge Posts Huge Game in 38-19 Win
Social Circle picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jameccus Hardge. McNair had no answer to Hardge as he rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns.
If the past is any indication, Hardge could be in store for another big game when he takes on Jasper County on Friday. When Hardge last faced the Hurricanes back in October of 2023, he rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 37 yards and a touchdown.

Jude Nelson Makes It Two for Social Circle
Keeping Hardge company is Jude Nelson, a fellow Social Circle player. He picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 63 yards.
For the year, Nelson has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 55 receiving yards per game.
