Baseball Recap: Dodge City Takes a Loss

Dodge City fell victim to Andover Central and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Jaguars, falling 19-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Demons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Dodge City has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Andover Central, the victory got them back to even at 11-11-1.

Coming up, Dodge City will be playing at home against Kapaun Mt. Carmel at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Andover Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Maize at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
