Basketball Game Preview: Fort Bend Kempner Cougars vs. Victoria East Titans

The Fort Bend Kempner Cougars will head out to face off against the Victoria East Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Fort Bend Kempner challenged Randle on Friday. Fort Bend Kempner took a 46-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Randle.

Meanwhile, after only 28 points in their last matchup, Victoria East made sure to put some points up on the board against Lamar Consolidated on Friday. Victoria East managed a 56-50 win over Lamar Consolidated.

Victoria East has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Fort Bend Kempner, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-12.

Fort Bend Kempner strolled past Victoria East in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 60-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort Bend Kempner since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
