Basketball Game Preview: Central Warriors vs. Bellevue Comets

The Central Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Bellevue Comets on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Tuesday, Central blew past Postville, posting a 71-27 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bellevue). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat North Cedar 87-37. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Comets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Knights are ranked 332nd).

Bellevue's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
