Baseball Recap: Nathan Hale Comes Up Short

Nathan Hale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Edison Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rangers have suffered since April 8, 2024.

Nathan Hale's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Edison, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13.

Nathan Hale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-0 defeat against Locust Grove on the 12th. As for Edison, they have also already played their next game, an 18-3 loss against Verdigris on the 12th.
