Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Emma Aaseby and Elaynna Kuklok Lead Becker to Victory

Becker came into Thursday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Big Lake Hornets 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since September 6th.

Becker took Big Lake into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-27, 15-8.

Becker was led to victory by Elaynna Kuklok and Emma Aaseby. Kuklok had 13 digs and two aces, while Aaseby had 15 digs. Those 15 digs gave Aaseby a new career-high.

Becker's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Big Lake, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Becker will be playing at home against Rush City at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Big Lake, they will square off against Chisago Lakes Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
