Basketball Recap: Little Elm Lobos vs. Braswell Bengals

The Little Elm Lobos pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Braswell. Little Elm has struggled against the Bengals recently, as their match on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Little Elm lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Riki Adams, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Adams has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Camron Brown, who scored 15 points along with five steals.

Little Elm now has a losing record at 14-15. As for Braswell, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 24-8.

Little Elm will take on the Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Allen knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 32 contests -- so hopefully the Lobos like a good challenge. As for Braswell, they will head out on the road to square off against the Blue Hawks at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Rock Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
