Basketball Recap: Rivercrest Comes Up Short

Rivercrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Prairiland Patriots and fell 71-34. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-23 on Tuesday.

Rivercrest's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Prairiland, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Rivercrest will host Honey Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prairiland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-46 victory against Harts Bluff on the 6th.
