Baseball Recap: Menlo School Now 20-1 over Last 21 Games

With a playoff win on the line, Menlo School rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Woodland Christian Cardinals by a score of 15-11. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Chuck Wynn was incredible, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Fletcher Cahill was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs and one stolen base.

Menlo School kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive games.

Menlo School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Woodland Christian, they moved to 27-7 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.
