Baseball Recap: Ferndale Golden Eagles vs. Squalicum Storm
Ferndale won the last time they faced Squalicum, and things went their way on Thursday too. The Ferndale Golden Eagles had just enough and edged the Squalicum Storm out 7-6.
Fenton Vasak made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Vasak was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles.
