On Thursday, Skyline got themselves on the board against Woodville, but Woodville never followed suit. They blew past the Woodville Panthers 14-0. Skyline's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
The victory got Skyline back to even at 2-2. As for Woodville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline is on the road again on Friday to play Crossville at 4:30 p.m. Skyline is facing Crossville at the right time seeing as Crossville is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
