After a string of three wins, Kellenberg Memorial's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Half Hollow Hills West Colts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Firebirds of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Kellenberg Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Half Hollow Hills West, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Coming up, Kellenberg Memorial will host Sacred Heart Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Half Hollow Hills West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
