Flag Football Recap: Elkhart Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Elkhart can now relate to. They came up short against the Penn Kingsmen on Saturday, falling 27-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Kingsmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 33-0 last Wednesday.

Zoie Lucchese threw for 171 yards and one touchdown. Taylor Higgins was her top target, picking up 74 receiving yards and one score.

With the loss, Elkhart broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4. As for Penn, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.
