Softball Recap: William Allen Comes Up Short at Home Against Wilson Area

William Allen unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Wilson Area Warriors on Saturday, falling 11-0. The Canaries were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

The win made it two in a row for Wilson Area and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, William Allen is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge Parkland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Parkland their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Wilson Area, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Palisades at 4:00 p.m. This will also be Wilson Area's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
