Ashley Hall posted their closest victory since October 9th on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Academic Magnet Raptors 3-2. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raptors, too.

Ashley Hall had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 19-25, 25-23, 26-24, 15-8.

Isabella Smith paced Ashley Hall's offense, picking up 14 kills. Smith got some help from Charlotte Strickland and her 43 assists. Avery Ryan controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Academic Magnet still got an impressive performance from Helina Lloyd, who had 19 digs.

Ashley Hall's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-16. As for Academic Magnet, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

Ashley Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Academic Magnet, they will take on Lake Marion on Wednesday.
