Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Soulsville). They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 93-42 blowout they got against Compass - Midtown. The Revolution have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

JAKEEL TRUSS was his usual excellent self, going 11 for 26 on his way to 25 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of NICHOLAS WILLIAMS JR, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 14 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks.

Soulsville moved to 8-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Compass - Midtown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Soulsville won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Kingsbury at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Compass - Midtown, they will challenge The Collegiate School of Memphis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
