Basketball Game Preview: Bear Lake Lakers vs. St. Mary Eagles

The Bear Lake Lakers will square off against the St. Mary Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bear Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully St. Mary likes a good challenge.

Bear Lake is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Pentwater just ended the team's five-game winning streak two weeks ago. They took a 79-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The loss was the Lakers' first of the season.

Meanwhile, St. Mary entered their game against Jefferson on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. St. Mary received a blow as they fell 54-39 to Jefferson. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Mary's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2. As for Bear Lake, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
