Kelly Walsh faced Star Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Trojans blew past the Braves 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

One reason for the win was Kelly Walsh's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 25-13.

Lillian Hudson paced Kelly Walsh's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hudson got some help from Noa Hodgin and her 21 assists. Gia Ireland controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Loss or not, Star Valley got some senior leadership from Hallie Hokanson and Camryn Mackey. Hokanson had seven digs and two aces, while Mackey had 13 digs and two aces. Hokanson is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Kelly Walsh's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Star Valley, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-11.

Kelly Walsh has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Big Horn on the 26th. As for Star Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Central on the 26th.
