Football Recap: Eureka Comes Up Short

Eureka was the 48-0 winner over Ridgeview/Lexington when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets were beaten by the Mustangs 35-6 on Friday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eureka's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ridgeview/Lexington, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Eureka will host Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will be up against the Maroons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ridgeview/Lexington, they will head out on the road to take on St. Teresa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
