The Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers will take on the Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran Blazers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Manitowoc Lutheran is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Manitowoc Lutheran got the win against Hilbert by a conclusive 15-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.
Isaiah Hochmuth made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Manitowoc Lutheran is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-4 otherwise. Hochmuth was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double. That hit was his first of the season.
In other pitching news, Aaden Krause looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched.

Back at the plate, Logan Haupt was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joel Voigt, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Manitowoc Lutheran kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hilbert.
Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Manitowoc Lutheran, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
