Football Game Preview: D'Evelyn Jaguars vs. The Classical Academy Titans + How To Watch

The D'Evelyn Jaguars will head out to take on The Classical Academy Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. D'Evelyn will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

D'Evelyn's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Mitchell 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jaguars have posted since October 17, 2024.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Classical Academy). They blew past Alameda 56-0 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won four in a row.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for The Classical Academy, racking up 26 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Hayden Gustafson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a kickoff return touchdown from Zach Mediavilla.

D'Evelyn now has a winning record of 4-3. As for The Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

D'Evelyn was dealt a bruising 48-6 defeat at the hands of The Classical Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Titans' Jackson Schipfer, who rushed for 122 yards and three scores on only eight carries.
