Soccer Recap: Leonard Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Leonard was not quite Dr. Joaquin Garcia's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Leonard have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Leonard and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leonard will host Seminole Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Dreyfoos School of the Arts at 5:30 p.m.
