Baseball Recap: Waltrip Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Waltrip couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 10-0 to the Georgetown Eagles on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 on Thursday.

Waltrip's loss dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Georgetown, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-13-1 record this season.

While Waltrip had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
