Volleyball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Summit Spartans, falling 3-0. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Spartans when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Centennial took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-14, 25-20.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Summit, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Centennial is set to challenge their familiar foe Page at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Summit will face off against rival Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
