Basketball Recap: Clarksville Takes a Loss

Clarksville lost against Beech back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Clarksville Wildcats were beaten by the Beech Buccaneers 73-44. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Clarksville dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Beech, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Clarksville has already played their next game, a 57-51 defeat against Kenwood on the 10th. As for Beech, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-21 win against Hunters Lane on the 6th.
