While Pine-Richland's victory against Knoch wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Knights 11-9. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Gavin Stugart, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two doubles. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Jake Waddell was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and two runs.

Pine-Richland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Knoch, they now have a losing record of 10-11-1.

Looking ahead, Pine-Richland is taking a road trip to challenge Kiski Area at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Knoch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
