Football Recap: Dunbar Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Dunbar's offense. They were dealt a 34-0 loss at the hands of the Woodbridge Vikings on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Crimson Tide came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked eighth in District of Columbia, while the Vikings are ranked 49th in Virginia).

Woodbridge was led to victory by Marquece Sharpe and Caleb Tucker. Sharpe gained 145 total yards and two touchdowns, while Tucker threw for 212 yards and four touchdowns.

Dunbar is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Woodbridge, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Dunbar didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 36-0 defeat against Chester on the 20th. As for Woodbridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 42-35 loss against North Stafford on the 19th.
