Softball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union was the 6-5 winner over Lee when they last played one another back in April of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell 12-8 to the Generals on Thursday.

Union's record is now 4-6. As for Lee, their record now sits at 7-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union will take on Richlands at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Tornado's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lee, they will face off against Elizabethton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
