Volleyball Recap: Cherry Creek Bruins vs. Cherokee Trail Cougars
Cherry Creek extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 9-10. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherokee Trail Cougars. Surprisingly, this marked the Bruins' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
Trinity Fore paced Cherry Creek's offense, picking up 20 kills. Fore got some help from Catarina Harzbecker and her 17 assists. Harzbecker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Cherokee Trail was led to victory by Avery Krause and Isabella McClinton. Krause had 31 assists and 12 digs, while McClinton had ten digs. Krause is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.
Looking ahead, Cherry Creek will take on Palmer Ridge at 9:45 p.m. on Friday. Cherokee Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
