Baseball Recap: Argonaut Comes Up Short

Argonaut lost against Liberty Ranch last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Argonaut took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberty Ranch. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Argonaut saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clayton Hardy, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Sam Jones also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Argonaut now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Liberty Ranch, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Argonaut will challenge Union Mine at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Argonaut is facing Union Mine at the right time seeing as Union Mine is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Liberty Ranch, they will take on El Dorado at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
