Basketball Recap: Howard Tech Takes a Loss

Howard Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 52-43 to the Ooltewah Owls. The Hustlin' Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Owls apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Howard Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Ooltewah, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-11.

Howard Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Hixson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Howard Tech is facing Hixson at the right time seeing as Hixson is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Ooltewah, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-44 defeat against Sweetwater on the 16th.
