Soccer Recap: Combs Takes a Loss

Combs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Crismon Rattlers, falling 13-0. While losing is never fun, Combs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while Crismon are ranked 19th).

Combs' loss dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Crismon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Combs will square off against rival ALA - Queen Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Crismon is set to face off against their familiar foe Poston Butte at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
