Brookside Christian added to the longest winning streak in Central California Athletic Alliance this week by beating Foresthill, 52-0. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Brookside Christian took down the Wildfires 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Austin Caldron threw for 466 yards and 8 touchdowns and ran for 13 yards during the win.
He was 19-33 with 1 interception.
Edrico Oliver Jr. had a great week catching the football as Sam Sears' team beat Foresthill. He caught 5 passes for 225 yards.
Estevon Herrera was a force in the backfield as Stone Ridge Christian lost to Ripon Christian.
Caldron put up the best numbers in passing as the Knights bested Bobby Quintanilla's team. Caldron's favorite target this week was Oliver Jr., who caught 5 passes for 225 yards.
Brookside Christian's Caldron and Oliver Jr. led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Caldron has thrown for 2,876 yards this season, while Oliver Jr. has 50 catches for 835 yards. Herrera from the Knights leads the league in rushing with 1,621 yards.
The Knights led the league in scoring this week after putting up 52 points on the Wildfires. Caldron ran for 13 yards in the win.
