Basketball Recap: Starr's Mill Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

East Coweta came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Starr's Mill, but Lindsey Kopacek wouldn't allow it. The Starr's Mill Panthers secured a 52-47 W over the East Coweta Indians on Saturday thanks in part to Kopacek, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 19 boards. Kopacek is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Starr's Mill has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for East Coweta, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3.

Starr's Mill and McIntosh will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Starr's Mill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.6 points per game this season. East Coweta will take on St. Anne-Pacelli in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Anne-Pacelli also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 62.2 points per game.
