Basketball Recap: Tristan Ladue's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Saranac Lake over Hoosic Valley

Saranac Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 43-24 bruising from the Hoosic Valley Hawks.

Several Red Storm players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tristan Ladue, who posted ten points. Emma Akey was another key player, putting up seven points.

Saranac Lake's record is now 1-12. As for Hoosic Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Saranac Lake has already played their next matchup, a 59-23 loss against Lake George on the 19th. As for Hoosic Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 34-31 victory against AuSable Valley on the 19th.
