Basketball Recap: West Wendover's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

West Wendover lost against Pershing County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The West Wendover Wolverines took a 35-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pershing County Mustangs.

Pershing County was led to victory by Riley Harvey and Aaliyah Allen. Harvey dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Allen almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards. Harvey is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

West Wendover's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-4. As for Pershing County, their record is now 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Wendover will venture away from home to challenge Incline at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pershing County and Oasis Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
