Mayfield hasn't lost a match since August 25th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chardon Hilltoppers a 3-0 shutout. Considering Mayfield have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mayfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-1-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those 11 matchups. As for Chardon, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-9 record.
