Baseball Recap: Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Victorious

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bishop McLaughlin Catholic had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tampa Catholic Crusaders, sneaking past 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hurricanes have posted since March 19th.

Cooper Antalek tossed a big game, striking out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.

On the hitting side, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Fox, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Chris Bell also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
